Alexandre Isabelle (Writer, Director, Editor)
Quebec City filmmaker and philosophy teacher Alexandre Isabelle envisions his short films as aphorisms. Through their poetry, he seeks to inspire existential reflections. His short The Sugaring Off, which has earned him the most accolades yet, convinced him to establish his own production company, Silène films, in order to create more works in line with his artistic vision.
