Synopsis

This film has gathered eight Hongkongers’ migration stories, and there are nine in total including the director’s own story. People relocate for different reasons, but our emotions and feelings are somehow similar. We might feel bitter about leaving home, but here’s the fact, we are sad because we loved and still love this place. Maybe we just chose to capture the most beautiful scenarios of Hong Kong in our hearts, so it will last forever.

Monday Cheung (Director)

I’m a Hong Kong based illustrator and animator, who always wandering around Taiwan and the UK. I find interested in cooperating with other designers and companies, for example WWF as I prefer jamming ideas with others and stay open to comments. Ideas need shocks. Art is my enjoyment, passion and motivation to improve myself, after all, art is how I communicate with and respond to the surroundings.

Apart from doodling and sketching randomly, I especially enjoy doing projects as they are allowed to spend more time on details, and it’s meaningful to create decent works for specific purposes. Being an International student and growing up in Hong Kong, I have developed a curious and fearless attitude towards the society. With the ability to design and communicate, I aim to let my art works speak for themselves.
