Synopsis
A half Hawaiian young woman, Hope, returns from the mainland to her birthplace of O‘ahu after a long time away from home, only to be greeted with judgement and shame. The separation between her and her homeland drives a cultural divide between her family. In light of this, she turns to music and makes an offering to her ancestors to reconnect with the ʻāina and her ʻohana.

Justin Pascua (Writer/Director)
Born and raised in Kaneohe, HI, Justin is a Kalaheo High School graduate, and currently a Junior with the Academy for Creative Media. He has amateruly directed many video projects for his high school, ranging from completing Hiki No projects, to participating in the Student Television Network. Justin also has picked up a plethora of skills along the way such as editing, sound design, VFX, etc. Justin aspires to become a film director in hopes of telling stories of truth, and use filmmaking as a media to give a different perspective of the world to all audiences.
