Synopsis
Ready Forward is a poignant love story about the transformative power of forgiveness in an aging couple’s relationship.
A retired couple living alone together, struggle to overcome the loneliness and guilt surrounding a family tragedy, until an untimely accident forces them to reconnect.

Jim Jost (Producer, Director)
With over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry, Jim’s IMDb page includes NCIS Hawaii, Magnum PI, Hawaii 5-0, Numb3rs, Alias and The Parent Trap, among many others. His decade-long tenure on 5-0 and Magnum includes credits as Director, Director of Photography, 2nd Unit DP and Camera Operator.
Jim was Director of Photography on Election Night, an AFI short film starring Peri Gilpin (Frasier) which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the Emerging Filmmakers Showcase and won a Special Jury Award at the USA Film Festival. He was also DP on Leave Keys in Car winner of the Award of Excellence at the Best Shorts Fest, among others.
He wrote, directed and shot the short film trilogy Cubed featuring Kenobi Cube which won Honolulu’s Showdown in Chinatown.
